Station History
Launched in December 1994 in response to a pronounced (and previously unfulfilled) demand for a station playing the best blend of popular contemporary music in East Idaho, KORR 104 has been a constant musical companion to multiple generations of young and mid-aged adults in American Falls, Pocatello, Blackfoot, Idaho Falls and all of East Idaho.
Owned and operated by the Anderson Family since it signed on 18 years ago, KORR has a long-standing, deep-rooted commitment to the community with sponsorships of the Portneuf Greenway in Pocatello, The Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo, The Idaho Food Bank, Bannock County's "Biggest Show in Idaho" firework display each 4th of July, Family Services Alliance, The Salvation Army's annual Holiday Toy Drive, Idaho State University, Portneuf Medical Center's Annual "Brake for Breakfast," The Idaho Meth Project, Pocatello's annual Relay for Life, area high schools, Bone Marrow Donor Identification program "Angels for Alec," and much, much more.

As of March 10, 2003, the effective date of the FCC's new EEO rules, this radio station is continuing those EEO efforts. This radio station currently working to update and expand our mailing lists of organizations wishing to receive notices of their job openings. In addition, we are planning to continue our efforts to recruit widely for job openings at the station by posting information about future opportunities with a variety of media and other organizations, including but not limited to the organizations that have requested to be on their expanded mailing list. Finally, this radio station intends to engage in a variety of long-term recruitment initiatives to better educate the public about careers in broadcasting and better prepare interested students and others to enter or advance in such careers. This radio station's next annual report will contain further detail about the progress of those efforts.
